Monday’s stock market had a mixed close as investors braced for a busy week of earnings reports. The Dow Jones dropped more than 300 points (0.8%), while the S&P 500 dipped slightly by 0.2%, after hitting a fresh all-time high last week. On the flip side, Nvidia surged over 4%, reaching a new record high, with Apple also closing at a record.
The 10-year Treasury yield rose to 4.18%, its highest since July. Investors are now focused on big earnings from Tesla, General Motors, Coca-Cola, and Boeing later this week.
